Currently, there are 104 people in hospital being treated for Covid-19, while 14 people remain in intensive care unit. 2,747,694 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 757,115 have received their second.The figures mean the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – remains the same as yesterday at 7,642.

Many Scots took to the hills this weekend as travel restrictions were finally lifted. Car parks at some of the country’s most popular beauty spots and munros were filled.
