Scottish Government confirms 413 new cases and no deaths in last 24 hours

coronavirus have been recorded in the last 24 hours. The latest figures for Scotland show that no new deaths had been identified overnight.

It means the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – remains the same at 7,664 .

There are currently 64 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with three being treated in intensive care.The total number of positive cases since the pandemic hit stands at 228,908 .To date 3,003,339 people have received their first vaccination with 1,599,519 having a second jab.

The figures come as Nicola Sturgeon urges Glasgow Southside residents to get a Covid test after a 'significant outbreak' in the area.
