Scottish footballers are threatening court action for a share of millions of pounds made by league bosses selling their data.
Up to 50 stars from Scottish teams want the SPFL to hand over compensation for the profits they make in selling stats to companies like betting firms.
They believe they own the data which centres around match performances, and their representatives are prepared to go to court.
The SPFL, headed up by Neil Doncaster, will not say how much the game makes in the trade – with accounts published last week refusing to say.
