Signed on loan on Monday, Rogers, who spent time on loan at League One side Lincoln City last term, was handed a start just over 24 hours after joining the club, as the Cherries were sent crashing out of the competition at the second round stage, losing 6-0.
The City winger, who had only trained once with his new team-mates ahead of the trip to Carrow Road, played 82 minutes of the contest
