Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has opened up on the struggle he had coping with injury early into the season. The 23-year-old spent nearly two months on the sidelines this year after he was forced off during the Boxing Day win over Newcastle with knee ligament damage.
McTominay made his return for United in February and immediately reestablished himself as a key member in the first-team squad under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Scotland international will be keen to build upon his form when football finally returns, but he admits his injury lay-off experience is actually helping him to cope with the current lack of matches.
