Scott Foley doesn’t think a Felicity reboot could happen due to the actors’ ages. While appearing on ABC’s Good Morning America, Foley was asked about a potential reboot for the WB drama, which ended its four-season run in 2002.
Michael Strahan asked Foley if he would be down to star in a revival of the series he co-starred with Keri Russell and Scott Speedman. “Of course I’d do it,” Foley said. “My question to you, Michael: I’m going to be 53 this year.
I feel like the Felicity reboot window may have passed.” Strahan added, “It’s Felicity of the future,” and Foley joked, “It’s Cocoon Felicity.” Foley was referencing 1985’s Cocoon, a film directed by Ron Howard about a group of senior citizens who are rejuvenated when they encounter aliens. “I feel like I’m Wilford Brimley’s age when he did Cocoon,” Foley joked.
Strahan noted that people would still watch that reboot with Foley saying, “Listen, if they’ll watch, I’m all for it.” Lara Spencer added that Russell is “magic,” and Foley agreed, adding, “She’s the best.
