St Mirren will resurrect their interest in Hibs playmaker Scott Allan if Jamie McGrath leaves Paisley this month. Allan was close to a move to the Buddies on deadline day in August as part of a deal to take McGrath to Easter Road.
But Hibs failed to get the deal over the line in time and both players remained where they were. Aberdeen are leading the chase for Irish international McGrath with St Mirren demanding £350,000 for the midfielder to make the move this month.

Dundee are also keen on taking the 30-year-old for a second stint at Dens with James McPake eager to boost his midfield options.
