Scots thug who broke man's eye socket in toilet queue jump row ordered to pay him compo

A thug who punched and fractured a man's eye socket amid a dispute over skipping a toilet queue has been ordered to pay him £800 in compensation.Brandon Manners, 25, pounced on Archibald Sherlock at Glasgow city centre's The Social on February 4 2023.

Manners hit Mr Sherlock once on the head from behind after both men left the bathroom area of the bar.The pair had earlier argued about jumping ahead in the line for the bathroom.

Manners pled guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to assaulting Mr Sherlock to his severe injury and impairment.Sheriff Shona Gilroy ordered Manners to do 90 hours of unpaid work on top of the compensation at today’s sentencing.

The court earlier heard that Mr Sherlock was at the bar with his son who waited outside for him.Manners, of Twechar, East Dunbartonshire, and another man entered the toilet meantime.
