A Scot took home a share of the jackpot on the Chase today after his team came out victorious.Jim from Edinburgh, Anna from Hertfordshire, Pam from Lincolnshire and Jay from Loughborough all teamed together to take on one of the country's finest quiz brains again on Thursday night's edition of the ITV show.Jim was up to the podium first, as host Bradley Walsh paid a nod to the "beautiful" capital city of Scotland.
The 34-year-old works at Edinburgh airport as a customer service assistant and admitted he enjoys painting 'mini figures' for board games during his spare time. "I set them up and have pretend battles with my friends," he said revealing he has 'thousands' at home already and would like to expand his collection as well as purchase a house with his wife in the near future."She wants the money for that and I want to buy more toys," he added as the audience laughed before the Edinburgh local scored an impressive £9,000 in the cash-building round before taking on tonight's Chaser - Ann Heggarty, who also studied at Edinburgh University."Hello Jim I like reenacting battles with little soldiers too, that's why I am barred from that pub in Aldershot," The Governess joked.
He went on to fly through to the final chase, having stuck with his £9,000 offer having easily been able to take the higher shot at the £40,000.
Next up to face The Governess was 31-year-old Anne, who admitted she should be spending any winnings on driving lessons but would be tempted by the idea of a sunny getaway to Costa Rica.
