A Scots teen has suffered life-changing injuries after being nearly crushed to death in a scrapyard. Taylor Knight became trapped under a two-tonne H-beam on a building site in Granton, Edinburgh, after wandering onto the land with friends.

Almost six months after the incident on June 28 at Western Harbour Road, Taylor has still not returned to her volunteering position at a charity kitchen and cannot walk long distances, reports Edinburgh Live. The youngster says she regrets going onto the construction site and has warns others to think before entering a possibly dangerous situation.Speaking to Edinburgh Live, the teen said: "I do regret going into the scrapyard.

If I could go back in time I wouldn't have done it, but you never know the what could happen so you need to be careful."My friend had come down from Tranent, there was a whole group of us but only three people decided to go into the scrapyard.
