dailyrecord.co.ukhospital after being viciously attacked by a gang of youths in Ayrshire. A large-scale disturbance broke out within a lane behind a house on Ladyford Avenue in Kilwinning at around 2.30am today.
Emergency services were called to the scene and found the 19-year-old man seriously injured before rushing him to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment.
Medical staff describe his condition as ‘critical’.Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed or heard the altercation which involved a number of male and female youths.Detectives believe the group was made up of youngsters aged between 16 and 20 but they fled the scene as police arrived.Investigators are also examining CCTV footage in a bid to identify those responsible.The Daily Record.
