Amy MacDonald has been keeping her fans entertained during lockdown with a rendition of her hit song 'This is the Life' and told the story of how it changed her life. 'This is the Life' was released in 2007, and Amy let fans into a secret of how the song became a huge hit as she penned it after a night out.Performing from her home in Glasgow on her YouTube channel, Amy explained that she was extremely proud of the track.She said: "When I was 16 , I went out on a night out - shouldn't have been on a night out really - used my sisters ID, I loved that we looked enough a like that I could get away with it and just had a brilliant time and the next day I spent the next whole day in my bedroom - I think I was banished there and wrote this song."
