Scots sex beast jailed after rapes and sex assaults including attack on schoolgirl
dailyrecord.co.ukA beast who has been found guilty of a number of horrific sexual assaults, including on a schoolgirl, has been caged. Craig Brett, 51, was sentenced to 11 years and eight months at Edinburgh High Court on Tuesday.
Brett was found guilty of sexual assaults, rape, threatening and abusive behaviour and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
He was also put on the Sex Offenders Register and made subject to a life-time non-harassment order.The court heard that the campaign of horrific abuse took place in Dundee between 2014 and 2021.
Brett’s female victim was aged between nine and 12 when the offences happened. Detective Constable Tanya Garland, of Police Scotland’s Child Protection Investigation Unit, said: “I would like to commend the victim for her courage and bravery in coming forward.
