A Scots restaurant has made a plea to customers after a "high number" of no shows on Valentines Day.Parrilla Argentinian Grill in Musselburgh, East Lothian, took to social media after they were forced to turn away diners due to a number of guests not turning up.

The team at the venue urged customers to contact the restaurant if plans change. As a result, they are considering to adopt a "no-show policy" and said the decision "did not come lightly", reports Edinburgh Live.A statement on social media reads: "Dear valued customers, that you for your continued support and for choosing to celebrate Valentine's Day with us."Unfortunately, we experienced a high number of no-shows today.
