The nightmarish attack left her eyeball protruding from her skull; both dogs had been on leashes.Pucca's owner, Allan Hamilton, claims the dog and its keeper ran away following the incident, taking no responsibility for what happened.

He told Glasgow Live that his beloved pet may not regain her sight after she underwent surgery at the Small Animal Hospital in Bearsden.Allan, 31, said: "Pucca was out a walk when she was approached by the dog.

Both were on a leash, they seemed normal – tails wagging and having a sniff – but next minute he turned on her."Before he knew it the owner and his dog had ran away.
