A Scots primary teacher has spent four years trying to find a permanent job since graduating in 2020.Nicole, from Loanhead, West Lothian says she is in a "continual negative spiral" as she tries to hunt for work, in a "very stressful" employment environment with “no consistent work” for teachers.She said: “There is always the knowledge that there is an end-date and I will have to scramble for work again.
For the past three years, I haven’t had any proper security and I’ve had no luck at all securing a permanent job.”The 28-year-old says she bounces between different work opportunities and has moved between different councils in a bid to stay in work.
She has worked some months-long stints on temporary contracts in addition to ongoing supply roles, Edinburgh Live reports.She said: “There is always the knowledge that there is an end-date and I will have to scramble for work again.
