Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.
Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.
Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

dailyrecord.co.ukA woman has tragically died in a house fire that ripped through a property in Dumbarton on Sunday afternoon.Emergency services were alerted to the incident at a property in Carman View shortly after 3pm yesterday.Cops have confirmed this morning that an 82-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.Neighbours reported being evacuated with streets around the area being closed off too with large emergency services presence at the scene.An eye witness told the Record that the house on fire had no roof or windows left with the blaze taking hold within a matter of "minutes".They added: "My sister and her neighbours all had to be evacuated.
There were multiple fire engines and police on the scene and they were there for hours. A few streets had been blocked off too."A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a house fire in Carman View, Dumbarton, around 3.10pm on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
Emergency services attended, however an 82-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.“The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
