A former Scots nurse says she was in "living hell" after her ceiling collapsed and dumped 70kg of rubble into her new home just days after she moved in.Jacqueline Hutchison claims the Partick Housing Association property on Dumbarton Road was riddled with dampness and has had an negative impact on her health.

The 53-year-old moved into the flat on October 12 and immediately noticed there was a crack in the ceiling but says she was told it was nothing to worry about.Just days later, electricians were working on a separate issue in the house when the ceiling collapsed and dumped 70kg of rubble on them, Glasgow Live reports.

Jacqueline said: "When Partick Housing Association showed me the flat I loved it. However, when I arrived it was riddled with dampness and they denied everything. "Within a week of me moving in the kitchen ceiling fell down.

It was 70kg of rubble that fell on the electricians that were putting a socket in for my cooker."I had a maintenance guy out from the housing association two days before and I said the roof was cracking and I was told it was fine.
