Scots mum trapped in house after 'Argos delivery drivers block only exit with sofas'

mum claims she was trapped in her house for two days and forced to eat pizza through her window after Argos delivery drivers blocked her only exit with her new couches.

Sarah Miller, from Tayport, in Fife, said staff told her they were unable to bring the two sofas up her stairs because that would breach new coronavirus restrictions.

The mature student, who had split up with her husband Adam Cooper two days earlier, said she was alone with her seven-year-old son Joel when the delivery arrived.

The 44-year-old claims the couches were left piled on top of each other at the bottom of the stairs preventing the door from opening and leaving the pair trapped inside with no way of escape.Sarah said she was left 'in tears' and resorted to ordering.
