mum has sparked debate over how much money the Tooth Fairy should leave under the pillow - with some saying as much as £20 per tooth.

Nicole Steel asked fellow parents for advice after revealing her five-year-old daughter Isla had her first wobbly tooth. But the Edinburgh mum was astonished to receive more than 3,500 comments from across the world with some parents admitting they paid as much as £20 for a single tooth.

Posting on the Family Lockdown Tips and Ideas page on Facebook, Nicole said: "My five year old Isla came out of school earlier today over the moon she's finally got wobbly teeth!

Two!! So... What's the going rate these days for the Tooth Fairy?! I've asked about and it seems to be either a couple of quid or £10.
