A Scots mum has spoken about the horrific moment she learned her partner had been drugged, raped and murdered on a night out.Bobbie Cowan, 26, had just given birth for the fourth time to their daughter Lyla when dad Calum Simpson, 24, was brutally killed between November 2 and November 3, 2021.
Now, the Fife mum has told how she felt “sickened” when cops knocked on her door to tell her of the devastating news, reports The Mirror.Sick Dylan Brister, 27, and Cameron Allan, 21, spiked Calum’s drink during a night out, leaving him unconscious, then subjected him to a serious sexual assault which they filmed on a phone.
He died as a result of intoxication from the Class C drug Etizolam and alcohol.Bobbie is now raising their kids Calum, Mirren, Romi and Lyla alone.
Romi has a different dad but Calum loved her and treated her like she was her own daughter.Bobbie said: "The night Calum went out, we'd had a few words and he left on a bad note.
