The proud mum of a young Scot who was born prematurely and ended up weighing around the same as a laptop has told of her 'eternal gratitude' to hero medics who saved her son's life.
Andrew Reid had to be supported by so many machines after being born nurses nicknamed his crib 'The Blackpool Illuminations' due to all the bright lights.
