A Scots mum has been left fuming after thieves broke into a garden outbuilding and stole her son's off-road bikes and motorcycles worth tens of thousands of pounds.
Kirstin Pennycook has told how the rogues targeted her home in Thornton, Kirkcaldy overnight on September 17 and took 10 motorbikes, four mountain bikes and expensive tyres belonging to her sons Ross, 19, and Jamie, 17.
Windows were removed from the wooden structure and the walls were cut through as the bikes were stolen. Heartbroken Kirstin is now offering a £5000 reward for any information which could lead to the return of the bikes.
Jamie is a trials bike world champion in their age group, while Ross currently sits in first place in the Scottish Trials Bikes Championships and Kirstin fears their careers have been put in jeopardy as a result of the theft.
