Scots mum praises NHS staff after saving daughter's life from choking fit

NHS staff after they saved her baby daughter's life amid a choking fit. Little Darcie was rushed to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for children by ambulance last Friday.

The nine-month-old had to be taken into surgery for emergency treatment. But she has come out the other side of the ordeal which her mum described as the 'most terrifying moment of my life'.In an anonymous letter to NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, the mum told of the drama and thanked medics for their hard work.She wrote: "On Friday, January 22 my daughter Darcie, who is 9 months, was brought in by ambulance for choking."During these times when you're only allowed one person in with your child it is extremely hard, but during all the commotion I had someone make sure I was okay.
