Two men from Edinburgh have featured in a TikTok video discussing their 224-mile journey to Leeds to buy bottles of Prime.In a craze sweeping the nation, the drink made by YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul has seen shoppers queue for hours and travel to find shops selling the beverage.
In a TikTok video posted by Wakey Wines in Wakefield, Leeds, the young men chatted to the owner about their trip south of the Border, and what they had come to purchase, reports Edinburgh Live.
Sharing a series of clips with their customers, the pair confirmed on camera they were from Edinburgh, and when asked what they had come for, held up the Prime drink as well as a bag of sweets.Discussing the epic journey the pair had embarked on for bottles of juice, one user commented on the social media platform: "This is mental."The drink craze spawned a site called 'Prime Finder Scotland' allowing shoppers to locate where the drink is currently available.
In December, huge queues gathered in Govan and Airdrie after the drink hit the shelves of Aldi stores nationwide. One doting dad spent £1,000 on the beverage, buying the bottles as Christmas presents for his young sons.
