Scots hospitals Covid latest as 11,827 new cases confirmed

A further 11,827 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland – including 903 in Ayrshire and Arran.Latest figures published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland show there are 1,432 patients with Covid in Scottish hospitals which is up 109 from Friday.There are currently 54 people with the disease being treated in ICUs.

Meanwhile, there are 122 patients with Covid in Ayrshire hospitals – up 10 since Friday – while fewer than five people are being treated with the illness in the region's intensive care units.
