Scots dog owner 'tried to prise open' Bull Terrier's jaws as it 'attacked pet'

A woman has told of her horror after her beloved dog was attacked by two Bull Terriers while out walking in Glasgow. Susan Jack had been on Dumbarton Road at around 11am on Saturday April 8 when a passing dog grabbed hold of the ear of family pet Flora.

The horrified owner desperately tried to pull the bull terrier's jaws open to allow Flora to escape as her pet screamed in agony.

She told Glasgow Live: "I was just taking her home after we'd been out for a walk. "We turned onto Dumbarton Road and I'd seen these two dogs before with their owner.

As we walked past them the dog lunged and went for Flora's ear. It had her ear in its big jaws. I then went down on the ground to try prise the dogs mouth open and Flora was yelping away."The owner stood there and wasn't really doing anything.
