Boy, 10, rushed to hospital after being hit by car on Scots street

A 10-year-old boy is in hospital after being hit by a car on a busy Scots road.Emergency crews were called to the incident on Wellesley Road in Buckhaven in Fife at 4pm on Tuesday, April 11.

Medics attended and on arrival, the child was found injured.He was taken to a nearby hospital in an ambulance and his current condition is unknown.

Officers investigating the collision say inquiries remain ongoing.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 4pm on Tuesday police received a report of a 10-year-old boy having been struck by a vehicle on Wellesley Road, Buckhaven. "Emergency services attended and he was taken by ambulance to hospital.
