A Scots dad scooped £27,270 on Deal or No Deal after taking the banker's offer when he was left with £100,000, 10p and 50p boxes on the hit ITV show.James Fitzpatrick decided to take the cash for his wedding and honeymoon in the Maldives, and thanked his young mystic son for winning on the programme hosted by Stephen Mulhern.James, a cleaner from Glasgow, waited in the wings for 31 shows before being selected and let off a scream of "Yass, come on!" as he was chosen, proclaiming that he was "pumped up and ready to rock".After being picked James announced that he would be leaving box 18 and 22 to the end after his son, Leo, drew a picture of him winning from box 18.

His niece also drew another picture for the part owner of Al Scrubz Cleaning of him winning from box 22.However, as the game went on his bad luck continued resulting in offers of just £1,330 and £2,532 from the banker, which he swiftly rejected.

As he continued to knock high cash values off the board, the £100,000 stayed and with only three boxes remaining he was left with the jackpot (£100,000) alongside the 10p and 50p.

This caused the banker to offer £27,270, which he snatched up after careful consideration with his brother in the crowd.After guaranteeing the cash James carried on to open the last remaining boxes.
