Blur frontman Damon Albarn hailed his Scots crowd as gig goers went mad for some of his biggest hits. The ex-Gorillaz singer played two shows at Glasgow venue St Luke's on Monday, as part of the tour to support his new solo album.
The Special Piano Tour sees him playing piano and singing alongside a number of violinists, performing both songs from his past and new numbers from latest release The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows.He played a number of Blur songs towards the end of his short set, including UK number one single Beetlebum, number two Tender, and cult hits The Universal, For Tomorrow and Girls & Boys.And fans went so wild during the renditions of the Britpop classics that the 53-year-old was left unable to see
