Scots could go on quarantine-free holidays 'by end of month'

Brits could skip quarantine when travelling abroad by the end of this month if infection rates in Europe are low enough. The UK Government is understood to be considering so-called 'air bridges' with popular hotspots so people don't have to self-isolate for 14 days.

When travel does resume, the UK is enforcing a mandatory two-week quarantine for anyone returning home from June 8. This has been criticised by travel and hospitality businesses with ministers expected to review it three weeks after it comes into force.
