Passengers on a Glasgow bus were left gobsmacked after a woman suddenly broke into song during the journey. The heartwarming moment was captured on video by Michelle Hilling on the number six bus from the city to East Kilbride on Friday, November 1.In the clip, the lady can be seen singing legendary Native Hawaiian musician Israel Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwoʻole's Over the Rainbow.Michelle spoke with Glasgow Live, reflecting on the moment which left passengers smiling.

She said: "She definitely brightened up the bus journey on a cold, dark Friday night."She sang a few songs. The first song had the bus fall quiet as everyone could only listen and smile.

I took a video to show family and friends as it's not often you see something on Glasgow buses that makes you smile."The well-known song has been covered by musical legends from across the globe, including Scotland's very own Susan Boyle.

Other musicians who have turned their hand to the catch tune are Judy Garland, Eva Cassidy, Eric Clapton and Ella Fitzgerald.The clip, which was updated to TikTok, has already racked up over 100,000 views and hundreds of comments.
