A romance which flourished in a Scots coffee shop, when barista Sophie wrote 'ur cute' on her crush's latte, is still going strong one year on.Edinburgh resident Sophie Hosking shared a video on TikTok last year, asking the public if they knew one of the customers in Grams, the coffee shop where she worked - describing him as 'so cute'.

After serving up the personalised drink with ‘ur cute’ written in foam, Sophie, 24, gained over 7 million likes on her original video with 14,000 comments, reports Edinburgh Live.

To the delight of fans, the man reciprocated Sophie's feelings and the pair hit it off.She posted an update to her followers a month after the first meeting, saying: “Update, I got his number and it turns out he’s been taking photos of all the coffees I’ve ever made over the months.

We’re texting right now!”One year on, Sophie posted another video, with the caption: “A year of love and coffee, thank you guys.”She added: “One year ago, I went viral for making a TikTok about coffee and love.
