The Blood of Redemption star took to social media to let his 21,000 followers the sad news. Sharing a picture of his mum Rita alongside his little girl Trinity Grace, he wrote: "This morning, after a 12 year battle with cancer, the most precious light became extinguished."Her courageous fight led to the surrender of vital organs and they in turn could not keep up with her brave amiable soul.
Now it’s her turn to walk with the angels and the Lord."Memories of her infectious motherly love and kindness will live on and be celebrated.
