The prestigious awards, which "celebrate the incredible achievements of fish and chip shops nationwide", honour the 50 best fish and chip takeaways and 10 best restaurants across the UK.A total of seven Scottish chippies have been recognised at this year's Fry Awards across the two categories.
The Garioch Fish Bar, Moore’s Fish & Chips, Quintiliani’s Fast Food, Redcloak Fish Bar, Sea Salt + Sole, and The Cafe Royal all appear in the top 50 takeaways, while Catch in Giffnock earned a spot on the coveted top 10 restaurants list.The Garioch Fish Bar is situated in Inverurie in Aberdeenshire.
