Scotland fans have been warned that German beer is stronger as they make travel plans to support the Tartan Army in the Euros.Thousands will travel to see the championships this year with Steve Clarke's men hoping to make history.But authorities at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) have issued a warning about the strength of a German tipple amid fears of drunk supporters on the continent.The advice reads: “Beer can be stronger than in the UK, so drink responsibly, know your limits and respect local laws.
You may not be let into the stadium if you drink too much.”While the average strength of beer in the UK is around 4.4%, according to Drinkaware, lagers in Germany are often 4.7% to 5.4%.
