Scotland assistant manager John Carver expects Scott McTominay to get his chance at Manchester United after scoring a late brace against Brentford.
United arrested their slump in dramatic fashion, coming from behind to beat the Bees 2-1. McTominay only came off the bench in the 87th minute but scored twice in added time to complete an incredible turnaround at Old Trafford.
The 26-year-old's minutes at United have been limited this season, with Erik ten Hag favouring the likes of Mason Mount and Casemiro.
But Carver believes there will be major support among fans for the Scotland international to get his shot at regular football.
