Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.A community group has objected to Perth and Kinross Council wanting to let people drive at 50mph over the entire length of the planned Cross Tay Link Road.The local authority published roads orders in the local press last month proposing to permit drivers to travel at 50mph all along the proposed road between the A94 north of Scone and the A9 north of Perth.The same set of orders also proposed stopping up two sections of the U88 Stormontfield Road and a section of the A94 Angus Road as part of the £120 million project.Scone and District Community Council has now raised several objections to the orders being approved, arguing lower limits ought to be set.
