Schoolboy 'too stubborn' to go barbers gives himself Jim Carrey Dumb and Dumber haircut

A teenager who took matters into his own hands after refusing to go the barbers for months has left himself looking like an iconic 90s movie character.

Carly Bickerdyke says she pestered her 14-year-old son Mason Prady to get a haircut for months. She says the teenager, from Stalybridge, was being too 'stubborn' to go to the barbers.

But mum Carly was left stunned this week as she realised Mason had decided to have a go himself with a pair of kitchen scissors - and made himself look like Jim Carrey's character in Dumb and Dumber, Lloyd Christmas.

Mason grinned as he showed Carly, 34, his short, straight, bowl cut style fringe by appearing on the family's Ring doorbell camera so the mum-of-three could see it at work.
