Saving Private Ryan actor Tom Sizemore was rushed to hospital and is now in critical condition following a brain aneurysm at his California home.
Speaking to Fox News, the actor’s manager, Charles Lago, explained that his client fell unconscious at around 2am on Saturday.
A yet-to-be-named person discovered the actor on the floor and immediately called 911, with an emergency crew transporting the 61 year old actor to the intensive care unit at a Los Angeles hospital. "He is in the hospital," Charles said. "His family is aware of the situation and are hoping for the best. "It is too early to know about [a] recovery situation as he is in critical condition under observation." Tom is arguably most well-known for playing Sergeant Horvath in the 1998 classic movie Saving Private Ryan, which also starred Tom Hanks, Matt Damon and Vin Diesel.The flick won Oscars for Best Special Effects and Best Sound, and was nominated for Best Film, Best Direction and Best Actor.
With a career that began way back in 1989, Tom has worked on countless notable films such as 2001’s Black Hawk Down which starred Ewan McGregor, Orlando Bloom and Tom Hardy.
