The big race of the day is the Celebration Mile (15:35 Goodwood) and it should be a real cracker of a contest. Benbatl sets the standard on official ratings with a mark of 125 but he hasn’t run since the end of February and has never won on soft ground so I’m willing to look elsewhere. Century Dream, who loves a bit of cut and can go very well, was fifth in a Group 1 last time behind a good winner but I think he could be susceptible to an improver.
That improver could well be Sir Busker for William Knight who gave weight and just failed to beat Montatham last time at York.
