mirror.co.ukTributes have poured in for US actor John Callahan. The star of the US soap opera All My Children passed away at the age of 66 following a stroke at his home in home in Palm Desert, California, his representatives confirmed.
Paramedics had taken him for treatment at Eisenhower Medical Center where he was placed on life support. Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, John's family were only permitted to stay with him for a short time and were at home when they were notified by telephone that he had died.
The beloved star has seen a number of tributes pour in since his passing, most notably Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar.
