The star has previously spoken frankly about his battle with booze telling Fox News how he was "looking into getting some sort of treatment, outpatient or something, that will somehow help my drinking".
In a concerning Instagram live stream earlier this month, which was broadcasted to his 240,000 followers, Chad could be seen sprawled on his living room sofa shirtless alongside his dog Pumpkin.
During the stream, which was transmitted around 6.30pm LA time on April 10, Chad appeared bleary-eyed and regularly lost his train of thought.
