The Duchess of York made her debut appearance on Loose Women, where she urged women not to miss their mammogram screenings. "I really want to shout about this.

Don't skip your screening appointment, because I would not be sitting here if I hadn't have gone," she said. She opened up about her own experience with breast cancer, which was detected during a routine mammogram that she almost missed.The Duchess underwent an eight-hour single mastectomy operation and reconstruction earlier this year.

Speaking candidly to the show's hosts, she shared her initial fears about not seeing her grandchildren grow up "And you look it up and it's all so terrifying and this is what's going to happen, and then 'I'm not going to see my grandchildren grow up'.That's what goes through your head." she admitted.

During her visit, the Duchess, dressed in a long, pink leather-style coat, was given her own personalised Loose Women mug. Christine Lampard said to her: "Duchess, Sarah.
