The Duchess of York has recalled her final moments with the late Queen Elizabeth. Sarah Ferguson revealed the heartwarming last words Queen Elizabeth said to her ahead of her death in September 2022.
Speaking to The Times, the Duchess revealed that she called the Queen "Mumma" and was with her before she died at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. "The last thing she said to me: 'Sarah, remember that yourself is good enough,' It makes me cry", Fergie revealed.She also claims that the Queen's final words were "the best piece of advice" she had been given."She knew me all my life and she loved me." Sarah has been a member of the Royal Family since her wedding to Prince Andrew in July 1986.
Although their marriage didn't last long, and the pair separated in 1996, she remained close with the family, especially the Queen.
Despite their close bond, Sarah revealed to that she was always 'nervous' to see the Queen. She expressed: "I still got nervous seeing her right up until the end because she was the Queen of England."As well as sharing: "The Queen was much more my mother than my mother was…She never let me down, even if I let her down.
