Sarah Ferguson looked sensational as she graced the red carpet in Cannes for a charity gala on the French Riviera.The Duchess of York, 64, attended the Knights Of Charity Gala at Chateau de la Croix des Gardes Cannes, France on Monday, 22 July, where she showed off her stunning figure.

For the occasion, she donned a fitted black floor-length monochrome gown with a cloak that covered her shoulders and fell to the floor for a dramatic feature on the red carpet.The satin dress was the perfect choice for this year's theme of Grace Kelly and Cary Grant which was chosen for the gala dinner.The mum of two to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie completed the show-stopping look with long black gloves, a small black handbag and delicate pearl earrings that hung just below her jawline.

Her long ginger locks were styled down in loose waves and she opted for a heavier black eyeliner to add to the Hollywood glam look.The royal was joined on the red carpet by movie producer Milutin Gatsby, Chris Parker, a guest and Veronica Berti Bocelli as they happily posed for snaps.

Her lavish evening comes after her eldest daughter Beatrice, 35, opened up about mum's cancer battle and said: "She's always inspiring me." During an appearance at an event in Berkeley Square, London, Beatrice detailed how her mum was after she was diagnosed with skin cancer earlier this year after facing breast cancer last summer.
