Sandra Bullock is clearing the air regarding fake accounts on social media. The 60-year-old actress released a statement on Monday (February 3), addressing the numerous profiles on Meta that are currently falsely impersonating her. Any accounts pretending to be me or anyone associated with me are fake accounts and have been created for financial gain or to exploit people around me,” she added.
The statement comes a day after Sandra‘s 54-year-old sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado, took to Instagram to reveal that multiple fake accounts pretending to be her have been extorting fans out of large sums of money. “These accounts are run by crime rings.
They also run fake groups where a fake me posts ‘official statements.’ Not me. This is my only account and y’all know it’s about baking, cooking, animals, and gardening.
