Sandra Bullock has revealed that she's taking a break from acting in a bid to focus on her family. Sandra, 57, is proud mum to Louis, 12, and Laila, 10 – both of whom she adopted.
Announcing the news of the press tour of her upcoming movie The Lost City, which she stars in alongside Channing Tatum, the doting mother explained that she's happiest when she's with her kids. "I take my job very seriously when I'm at work and I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family," Sandra said to Entertainment Tonight. "That's where I'm gonna be for a while," she added.
Echoing similar sentiments in a press Q&A, Sandra said, as per Metro Online: "I am just going to take some time to be a mum." While Sandra didn't share how exactly long plans on taking a step back from the film industry, she did tease what may bring her back. "I love stories that show the imperfection of love within families and communities," she said. "I would love to [continue doing that] when I’m done being a mum." "I’ll get back to it.
I don’t know when," Sandra added. "Probably when they’re teenagers, solidly 16 or 17 year olds." For the latest showbiz reports and breaking news visit OK!
