Sandi Scully, the wife of beloved Los Angeles Dodgers' Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully, died Sunday evening at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center after a battle with ALS, the team announced.
She was 76. Born on Dec. 27, 1944, in Cascade, Virginia, Sandra Hunt was raised in Lexington, North Carolina. She was working as the executive assistant to Los Angeles Rams owner Carroll Rosenbloom when she met Vin after they were set up by Rams attorney Ed Hookstratten.
