EXCLUSIVE: Filming is due to get underway in Spain on September 4 on Samuel L. Jackson and Joel Kinnaman action film The Beast.
The film’s title refers to a presidential limousine nicknamed ‘The Beast’ by the Secret Service. In the movie, when a militia of unidentified hostiles coordinates a coup against the U.S., the President (Jackson) uncovers the extent of The Beast’s highly classified offensive capabilities.
Guy Burnet (Oppenheimer) is joining the cast as the main adversary to Jackson’s President. Filming is due to take place in the Canary Islands and Madrid.
James Madigan (The Meg second unit director) is directing off a script by Umair Aleems (Kate). Keith Kjarval (upcoming Tin Soldier) is producing through his Unified Pictures banner alongside Wayne Marc Godfrey (Wind River) and Nicki Cortese (Ricky Stanicky) for Bright White Light who are also financing the film.
